On December 10, at the Gokin Global BC Ecosystem Summit, Gokin officially joined the RE100 initiative as a Gold Member, committing to power 100% of its global operations with renewable electricity by 2030. This pledge is its green declaration for the future.

As a PV manufacturer, Gokin is turning commitment into action.
Green Genes in Manufacturing
Behind its achievements lies a stringent standard for green manufacturing. Gokin's 2024 ESG report shows it has completed Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) for core products, each obtaining ISO 14067 carbon footprint certification, providing transparent data for every module.
Gokin recorded four key "zeros" for the year:
0 environmental accidents or incidents
0 external environmental complaints
0 government penalties
0 pollution discharge exceeding legal standards
Product-specific electricity consumption has declined year-on-year for four consecutive years:
Average unit electricity consumption for silicon wafers decreased by 34.3% over four years.
Renewable energy usage increased by 38.33%, an annual growth rate of 21.2%.
Average unit electricity consumption for silicon rods decreased by 70.83% over four years.

Gokin and its four production bases all hold:
ISO 14001 Environmental Management System certification
ISO 50001 Energy Management System certification
ISO 14064 Greenhouse Gas Verification certification
The Sichuan base also obtained PAS 2060:2014 certification, becoming Yibin's first photovoltaic "Zero-Carbon Factory."
Green is both a product standard and a manufacturing starting point. Gokin aims to embed this green DNA into a broader industrial ecosystem.
Green Supply Chain: Building a Collaborative Ecosystem
On November 11, 2025, Gokin joined the Solar Stewardship Initiative (SSI), extending its green responsibility to the entire supply chain.

Gokin's membership reflects a proactive commitment to the green transformation of the industrial chain. It has embedded sustainability into supply chain management by:
Incorporating E, S, and G criteria into 100% of new supplier evaluations.
Applying a "Quality-Cost-Delivery-ESG" evaluation model to optimize supply chain resilience.
Organizing over 20 supplier ESG training and technical workshops annually to drive collaborative decarbonization.
This green supply chain enhances product competitiveness and ensures every kilowatt-hour carries the ethos of sustainable development.
Green Applications Empowering a Sustainable Future
From supply chain to diverse industries, Gokin's products reach varied applications, empowering a sustainable future.
At the recent 15th China National Games, Gokin provided high-efficiency PV modules for three core venues, helping transform sunlight into athletic momentum and supporting the first "Carbon-Neutral National Games."

Beyond the stadiums, Gokin's green footprint extends nationwide. In Liannan Yao Autonomous County, Qingyuan, it signed a strategic PV development agreement to co-create a demonstration project integrating green energy with ethnic culture, powering cultural, tourism, and public facilities in minority regions.
In Gangwu Town, Gokin participated in a local "PV + Agriculture" solar farm project, boosting local economic development.
From national sports venues to remote villages, Gokin's products deliver power across geographies and applications.
RE100 marks a new starting point. Gokin will continue fulfilling its ESG commitments, turning each green target into tangible action.
With responsibility and determination, Gokin moves forward guided by the promise of light.
